Biography of Mark Brittain

Mark is very experienced in real estate law, having performed over thousands of real estate transactions in his career. He enjoys probate law and has acted as the executor or personal representative of hundreds of estates. As a trial attorney, Mark has litigated cases that have made or clarified law that has been highlighted, reported, and referenced in subsequent cases which are now part of Georgia’s legal history.

Mark is a member of the American, Georgia, and Henry County Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all Superior Courts in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court (Northern District).

Apart from practicing law, Mark was a co-founder of the American Community Bank which was subsequently sold to First National Bank of Griffin, where he served on the Board of Directors until 2009. Knowledge of the banking industry and how it functions enables Mark to view the lender-borrower relationship with a heightened degree of skill and understanding.

Mark has been married to Connie Cantrell Brittain for 26 years. She is a former Delta Airlines flight attendant, a homemaker and gymnastics teacher. They have four daughters, Jackie (Sports Reporter, New England Patriots), Jamie (Law Student), Jordan (Education Student), and Jenae (High School Student).
